If you're looking for something different, try some of our more specialist malt. Using Rye, Wheat or Oats can help to enhance the body and improve head retention, whilst creating deep flavours and spice to the beer.

These products help give a beer complexity and a uniqueness that will differentiate your beer from others.

All of the malted cereals have individual characters and attributes. They follow the same basic malting process as barley but need the speciality vat or floor maltings due to their difference in size and shape.

Dextrin Malt

Available Whole or Crushed

Dextrin malt is germinated in the process to create longer chain sugars that survive the mashing process to give higher attenuation limits and thus fuller tasting beers. It can provide extra body and improve the head retention of your brew.

Wheat malt is used to enhance body and head retention; it brings a subtle smoothness to beers when used up to 15%. Beyond this percentage, it will start to create hazy Weissen/ Wit type beers.
